About the Event
The WASDA Annual Meeting (February 6 – 9, 2022) is the perfect platform for professionals in the water and sewer industries to gather for networking, learn about trends and challenges in the industry, and celebrate our community. Spouses and Guests are invited to attend alongside the industry attendee but are also required to register for badges.

In this session we'll explore the impact that having a resilient mindset can have as we toe the line each day. You'll come away inspired and equipped to develop your "stone" of resilience.

Blake is a leadership and resilience coach and has been leading others all his life. He has lived his life to be a role model to others. He has endured a lot of hardship in his life, which he has learned lessons from to make himself better after each one. He has learned how to be a resilient leader the hard way and now equips current and future leaders to better handle the adversity they will face at work and at home.
His corporate journey began in international logistics in 1995 after moving to Illinois from Alabama. After 10 years he transitioned into the field of export compliance for three different Fortune 500 companies. During this time, he earned a master’s degree in Training and Development.
In 2012 Blake founded a non-profit, Battle Tested, that serves high school and college sports teams through leadership development, team building, and character development. He’s a gifted professional speaker that shares compelling stories that motivates his audiences.
Blake has written two books, The Battle-Tested Teammate and The Battle-Tested Leader and is currently working on a third. He is passionate about pouring into others to help them to become the best versions of themselves and is always looking for ways to serve others in that way. He’s provided leadership coaching to many students and adults over the years and, in the latter half of his life, has decided to invest even more heavily into equipping current and future leaders.
Blake is also a father of five, an endurance athlete, and a lover of college football.

About the Presenter: Dr. Christopher Kuehl (PhD)
Dr. Kuehl is a Managing Director of Armada Corporate Intelligence and one of the co-founders of the company in 1999. He has been Armada’s economic analyst and has worked with a wide variety of private clients and professional associations in the last ten years. He is the Chief Economist for the National Association for Credit Management and is on the Board of Advisors for their global division – Finance, Credit and International Business. He prepares NACM’s monthly Credit Managers Index. He is the Economic Analyst for the Fabricators and Manufacturers Association and writes their bi-weekly publication, Fabrinomics, which details the impact of economic trends on the manufacturer.
Chris is the chief editor for the Business Intelligence Briefs, distributed all over the world by business organizations and he is one of the primary writers (with Keith Prather) for the Executive Intelligence Briefs. He also makes close to a hundred presentations each year to business and industry associations in the US and overseas. He is on the Board of the Business Information Industry Association in Hong Kong and serves as a resource for the media and for many trade publications.
Chris has a doctorate in Political Economics and advanced degrees in Soviet Studies and Asian Studies and was a professor of international economics and finance for over 15 years prior to starting Armada.

Annual Golf Tournament

- When: Tuesday, February 8th, 2022
- Tee Off: 1 PM Eastern
- Round Fee: $290 inclusive (excludes Golf Club Rentals)
Enjoy a day outdoors at Tiburon Naples! The WASDA Annual Golf Tournament is ideal for an afternoon of sharing and networking.
The Gold Course is a par 72 Championship Golf Course and host of the LPGA’s CME Globe and PGA’s QBE Shark Shootout. It showcases open fairways with large, tiered greens and sod stacked bunkers.
Golf Club Rentals
Golfers are responsible for their own golf club rental charges. Club rentals are estimated at $70 inclusive of taxes and per player. Six golf balls and Callaway Golf Club (rentals) are included. Please plan to pay onsite at the golf course.

The preferred airport for travel to Naples, Florida is as follows: Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) approximately 25 miles (30 minutes) from the hotel and downtown Naples.
Check flight options accordingly. Note that ground travel times will vary pending time of day and traffic patterns between the airport and the hotel. Please plan accordingly.
