WASDA Washington Summit

Your Association held its first-ever Fly-in on The Hill in Washington, DC on July 10 - 12, 2023!

During a recent Strategic Planning Session, WASDA Leadership identified Advocacy & Government Affairs as key initiatives for the Association. Thanks to vision and foresight of Greg Velz, Fortiline Waterworks, & Chair of the WASDA Industry Relations Committee, and Zack Perconti, WASDA Director of Government Affairs, WASDA is keeping its fingertips on the pulse of U.S. Legislative and Public Policy.

The WASDA Washington Summit is your company's chance to advocate for the waterworks industry on current critical issues on The Hill. The U.S. Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (H.R. 3684) and the appropriation of funds is just the start of legislative issues directly tied to our industry.

Attendees participated in a Legislative Debriefing, heard presentations from members of U.S. Congress and Agencies, visited with U.S. Representatives and Senators, and networked with colleagues.
