WASDA Welcomes The 2018-2019 Board of Directors

This past February at the Annual Meeting, two new Board members, Sarah Kneeland (American Underground Supply Inc.) and Greg Velz (Fortiline Waterworks), were elected at the Business Session in Palm Springs. We welcome them to the Board for a term of three years. We would like to recognize with appreciation Richard Campbell’s (Western Waterworks Supply Company) time on the Board, and welcome Bill Driskill (Core & Main) as WASDA President in 2018. Kevin King (Coburn Supply Company) assumed the role of President-elect, and Nate Peirce (H.R. Prescott & Sons) was nominated and approved by the Board to take on the role of Secretary-Treasurer.

Thanks To All Who Attended The 2019 Fall Meeting & Partnership Forum!

The 2019 Fall Meeting and Partnership Forum took place at the Hilton Denver City Center, in Denver, Colorado.  It was another successful event! Attendees enjoyed interacting with members in a casual and relaxed environment. It was ranked by attendees as a high-value investment for both the programming and networking opportunities.

Once again, WASDA appreciates all who attended.  We are now looking forward, and hope to see everyone in February at the Annual Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona at the Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch.

Water Infrastructure Week Blog Post

WASDA encourages all Members to participate in this year’s Infrastructure Week, which will take place from May 14-21, 2018. This event is all about uniting our voices together with others in the industry to raise awareness about infrastructure issues that the country is facing – from roads and bridges to water and sewer systems and more.
There are many ways to participate and the easiest way to get involved is to raise your voice on social media.

Associate Voting Member Committee Expands

On behalf of the Associate Member Committee, I’d like to congratulate Chris Curry, Laura Grondin, and Brent Hildyard on winning their election as voting members to the committee; and thank them in advance for their commitment over the next three years.

The ballot was comprised of many qualified candidates, who were willing to contribute to the committee.  This speaks volumes on the dedication our members have towards membership development.
Due in part to the commitment and loyalty of our member volunteers, WASDA continues to move forward with greater impact on the water and sewer industry.
Thank you,
Bernie Pipan

Chair, Associate Member Committee!
